Do you use this reserve? Do you want to use it in Future? Well, that could change, this bill is currently before parliament and the Recreation Reserve land could be rezoned for housing. You are now informed, Make sure you are heard!!!

More details can be found on the bill below:
  • The purpose of the bill is to take 11.69 hectares of Recreation Reserve land in Tāmaki in east Auckland and allow housing development on the land.
  • They are already intensifying this area and surrounding areas, and now it is proposed taking these green areas away.
  • It was announced in the house on 7th December 2016 and submissions have to be made by Tuesday, 31 January 2017.
